If you are a non-Indigenous or Metis NWT resident and over 60 years old, you are eligible for the Extended Health Benefits Seniors’ Program through the GNWT, Health and Social Services.

Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program?

NIHB is a national program that provides coverage to registered First Nations and recognized Inuit for a specified range of medically necessary items and services that are not covered by other plans and programs.
